Designer and metalsmith Susan Lorraine Meier creates her line of hand crafted Jewelry on the Pacific Northwest island of Vashon. It’s lush green forests and serene beaches inspire a raw uncomplicated feel in her work.

After graduating from California College of the Arts in 2004 with a BFA in Metalsmithing, Susan went on to design custom one of a kind wedding rings in Seattle for half a decade.

Missing a more rural lifestyle she moved back to her hometown and established her namesake line in the spring of 2016. Susan Lorraine’s collection combines traditional techniques of hand forging with Japanese minimalism and ancient Pre-Columbian form. Easy and lightweight, each piece is carefully hand made using recycled sterling silver and gold plated brass.
